GV II

House. C18 with later alterations. Squared, coursed ironstone. Steeply pitched
slate roof with stone-coped gables. Stone stacks, ridge and end with brick
shafts. 2-unit plan with later addition on road side and gabled 2-storey porch
to rear. Tall casement windows mostly with wood lintels. 2 oval windows on left
end. Interior. Inglenook fireplace and chamfered beam. Said once to have been
the manor farmhouse and also once a butcher's shop.
