Railway viaduct. 1875, restored late C20. Built for the
Midland Railway Company. Brick arches with rock-faced ashlar
facing and ashlar dressings. String course and flat coping,
patched with concrete. 13 round arches laid out on a slight
curve, those spanning Market Street and Church Street with
pointed voussoirs and flanking pilaster buttresses. At the
south west end, a similar buttress.
