ST 40 SW BROADWINDSOR HURSEY

4/81 Hursey Farmhouse

GV II

Detached Farmhouse. Cl7 core, Cl9 re-fashioning. Dressed stone walls,
with a rubble-stone base. Slate roof. Brick stacks at left centre
and right hand gable. 2 storeys. 3 windows, 3-light wooden casements
with horizontal glazing-bars. Stone voussoirs. Front door at centre,
with glass panels. Outer porch door, plank, Cl9. Stone porch with
large pentice roofs of slate. Remains of a stone label on the south
gable hall. Interior: window-seats with fielded panelling. Mid-chamfered
beam with filleted stops.
