House. c1720 with later remodelling. Regularly coursed squared limestone with
gritstone dressings, projecting quoins, moulded eaves cornice, central stone
stacks, hipped roof with stone slates. Two storeys and attics, five bay symmetrical
front with sashes in projecting stone frames, and retaining glazing bars only in
upper parts of the windows. Three hipped dormers to attics with lead roofs and
glazing bar lights. Central doorway with moulded architrave, and segmental
pediment on moulded stone brackets. C20 four panelled door with rectangular
overlight with radiating glazing bars. North west elevation has C18 2-light flush
mullioned windows with leaded lights. Boundary wall of coursed rubble limestone
with half-round copings incorporating stone gatepiers, square on plan, with moulded
projecting caps.
