3/8 Nos. 1 and 2, Manor
Farm Cottages

2 cottages. Dated 1913 J.A.M. on central stack. Probably by Sir Edwin
Lutyens. Grey brick with red dressings, chainage, and gauged window
heads. Hipped old tile roof with deep eaves, catslides over lower wings
set back to left and right with tiled eaves, and large square end stacks
and central ridge stack rising to same height. Stepped U-plan with wings
projecting to rear. 2 storeys with one storey set back flanking wings.
4 first floor 2-light casements with blank windows above doors between
first and second, and third and fourth windows. 4 ground floor glazing
bar sashes with exposed wooden boxes. 2 half glazed doors with flat
hoods on shaped brackets between first and second, and third and fourth
windows. One Circa 1920 glazing bar sash in each set back flanking wing.
