plinth surmounted by bronze statue in iron-railed enclosure. Square plinth, north
face lettered in relief

Good statue of woman in classical dress holding a wreath in one hand and a small
angel holding a wreath aloft in the palm of the other hand.

Enclosed by low walls with ashlar chamfered coping and original rod railings
bearing the makers name of "Walker and Co, Idle Yorks".

Prominently sited on the edge of the park fronting the main road.
