Pair of houses, originally one. C16 timber framed house of 3 bays, now
rendered and painted, and W. bay added C18. Timber frame exposed to E. gable
end. Roof raised;concrete tiled with central and RH chimneys. W bay
3 storeys, E. bay 2 storeys with high plinth. 4 bays of modern casements,
modern door with hood in W. bay, possibly originally coach entry now filled in.
Interior : large stack of c1600 inserted in centre with 3 stone fireplace
arches having flat hoods. Chamfered jambs, ground floor E. side with quarter
round moulding, W. side with 3 centred brick arch, Floors inserted also
c1600 with plain spine beams.
