House. Early C18 altered later C18. Chequer brick with red dressings. Hipped
slate roof, brick stack to left of centre moulded wood eaves. 2 storeys
and cellar, 1st floor band S.front has 3 bays, windows with flat gauged
brick arches, 3 pane sashes to 1st floor, outer ground floor windows late
C18 3 light sashes with centre 4 pane wide sashes. Central 4 panel door,
upper panels glazed, plain rectangular fanlight, in stucco doorcase of
plain pilasters, moulded console brackets supporting section of frieze
and dentil cornice. The door is approached by a flight of 11 steps with
C19 brick flanking walls with half round copings, finishing in low square
brick piers with stone copings.East and west fronts 2 bays, all blank
recesses except LH sashes on East. Rear wing lower, 2 storeys, brick, old
tile roof and irregular casements.
