Lewidden Bridge

II

Road bridge over a stream. Probably C18. Slate rubble. Small two-span bridge, each
span has a narrow corbelled pointed arch with a wide pier between which has a
cutwater on its upstream side.
The parapets appear to have been rebuilt, probably in the C19, and have pitched slate
capping. The bridge also seems to have been widened in the C19 on the upstream east
side where the apex of each arch has a large slate and the cutwater is a pointed
granite block.
