THE WHARF
The Stone Building (Kennet and Avon Canal Trust)

Mid C19 granary (after 1849), formerly part wharf building complex, now demolished, which served the corn trade on the Kennet and Avon Canal. Two storeys. Slate roof. Swindon stone ashlar with brick gables. Openings with timber lintels. Two-light mullioned windows with glazing bars. Boarded doors. First floor hoist, bracket double doors, platform and canopy.
