No 9 Early C19 house of 2 storeys and basement, 4 windows, the 2 at right in
rounded bay through all 3 floors. 2-storey and attic 1- window extension at
right with open entrance and garage. 2-storey, 1-window left extension. Low
pitched, slate roof, hipped at left, with eaves soffit. One gabled dormer in
right section. Multicoloured stock brick. Gauged flat brick arches to sash windows
with glazing bars on 1st floor and to casements with glazing bars on ground
floor. Loggia at ground floor left, up 5 steps. ½-glazed door opens from it.
Nos 10 and 11 pair, 2nd quarter of C19. Each 2 storeys and basement, 3 windows.
Stucco, with frieze, cornice and parapet concealing roof. 1st floor cill band.
Plain reveals to sash windows with glazing bars, those on 1st floor of No 10
and all those of No 11 replaced. 2-storey set back garage extension at left
of No 10, and door in angle. No 11 has basement brought forward to hold 3 garages;
and wrought iron balcony added on ground floor. 2-storey and basement set back
right extension with renewed door in angle.
Nos 12 and 13 2nd quarter of C19 pair, each 2 storeys and basement, 3 windows.
Stucco, with frieze, cornice and parapet concealing roof. 1st floor cill band.
Plain reveals to renewed sash window with glazing bars. Set back extensions
at both sides, that of No 12 2 storeys and basement, that of No 13 2 storeys
with door in angle. No 12 has entrance bay brought forward almost flush with
front. Vermiculate rusticated quoin on ground floor. Round arched window, with
moulded architrave and keystone, above.
