2 villas, 2nd quarter of C19. (No 2A is a subdivision of No 2. Each 2 storeys
and basement, 3 windows. No 1 is symmetrical with central door. No 2 has a
right bay added, to form No 2A, with a door in its left part. Both have hipped,
slated roofs of moderate pitch, with eaves soffit. Multicoloured stock brick.
Gauged
Gauged, flat brick arches to sash windows with glazing bars, all renewed. Stuccoed
basements. Nos 1 and 2 4 steps to 6-panel doors, with reproduction patterned
fanlights, in round arched recesses. No 2A 3-light ground floor window; reproduction
classical doorcase with open pediment and door of 6 fielded panels.
