1830-40. House on angle to Royal Place, of irregular shape. Angle front of
2 storeys, 2 windows; blank left return to Royal Place enlivened by 2 large panels; entrance on right through outer wall. Low pitched, hipped, slated roof with wide, bracketted eaves soffit. Stuccoed walls. Recessed sash windows with
glazing bars. 4-panel entrance door with entablature surround having cornice
and blocking course. South-west return of 5 windows, all but Nos 3 and 5 on
1st floor blocked. Central double door has fanlight with margin lights. 2 sash
wmndows with glazing bars at right of this. Left wall blank. Full width loggia
with swept lead roof on plain wood posts. Inside one original marble fireplace.
Staircase with ramped handrail in square well.
