C1845-50 a pair of very narrowly detached villas built as a symmetrical
composition. Red brick with stucco Italianate trim. Two storeys, 3 bays
each, the outer bays advanced and of 3 storeys but with hipped slate roof
originally, No 107 gabled at later date. Main roofs gable ended and of low
pitch with boxed flat eaves; corniced chimney stacks. Ground floor sill
band and first floor flat band. Windows have eared architrave surrounds
with pulvinated friezes and cornices except for narrow windows in close
set architraves above porches. The latter are enclosed and rusticated with
piers flanking openings supporting keyed archivolt arches, moulded cornices
breaking forward over them. Doors of 4 moulded panels with side lights and
rectangular fanlights. Each house has lean-to hipped roof gig house with
boxed eaves in line with first floor plat band.
