Chest tomb. Early C19. Limestone. Moulded plinth and cornice; Gothic style with
quatrefoils and sunk trefoiled pilasters and frieze; hipped top with ball
finial, Commemorates John Bristow "who after performing twelve voyages to
the./East Indies and/residing twelve years at Diamond Harbour in Bengal/died at
Woodstock the 14th day of May 1838".
