House. Mid-C18 with later additions and alterations. Painted roughly coursed
slate-stone, rendered to rear range; slate roof. L-plan with range projecting
to rear on right. 2 storeys, with chamfered plinth and deep eaves. Slightly
irregular 3-window front, all late C18 or Cl9 two-light casements with L-hinges
except lower right of 3 lights, ground-floor windows with voussoirs and projecting
keystones to slightly cambered heads. Roughly central 6-panel door under Cl9
flat-roofed open porch with chamfered wood posts. Integral end stacks with
slate drips. Range to rear has central doorway with C18 casements to upper
left and lower right (latter iron-barred) and late C20 casements to lower left
and upper right; integral end stack.
Interior: Ground floor of main range (knocked into one room) has open fireplaces
with wood lintels, right with cloam oven. Roughly carved joists to left part.
Converted farmbuilding attached at right-angles to front is not of special archi-
tectural interest.
