GV II

House. Early-mid C19 altered late C19. Roughcast stone,
graduated slate roof. 2 storeys with cellars and attic, 3-bay
front. Central porch has 4-pane sash to front and double door
in right return; margin-glazed door with overlight within;
ogee gutter to hipped roof. Flanking windows and those to 1st
floor have 4-pane sashes with projecting stone sills and
raised surrounds. Later casement to central attic window in
gablet. Oversailing verges with rendered brick end stacks.
Rear: 20-pane sash and old door to basement on right.
Round-headed stair window with Gothick glazing bars. INTERIOR:
mid C19 fireplaces to rear right and front left rooms; C19
patterned tile floor in hall, late C19 staircase. Included for
group value.
