Attached house, now office. Early C19. Limestone ashlar, brick
party wall stack, roof not visible. Double-depth plan. Late
Georgian style. 4 storeys; 2-window range. A plain front has
first-floor sill bands, frieze, cornice and parapet. Left-hand
semicircular-arched doorway with key and imposts, 4-light
fanlight and a 6-panel door. 6/6-pane sashes, 3/3-panes on the
fourth floor. Rear elevation has 9/9-pane stair light sashes
with thick bars. INTERIOR: a substantially complete C18
interior has a left-hand dogleg stair with barleysugar
balusters on the ground floor, turned on the upper floors,
with uncut string and square newels with pyramidal pendants,
restored dados and cornices, 6-panel doors and panelled
shutters. Second-floor stone fire surround with C19 iron hob
grate. Hall has late C19 style plaster decoration.
