Wall memorial in various marbles to Bennet Sherard esquire, d. 1701, for many years MP for Rutland. He was eldest son of Hon Philip Sherard 2nd son of William Lord Sherard Baron of Leitrim. Bennet married Dorothy, eldest daughter of Rt Hon Henry, Lord Fairfax. She d. Dec 1744 aged 90. Their children were Philip, Earl of Harborough, Elizabeth d. 1727 aged 50, Margaret married John Gilbert Archbishop of York, and Mary d. 15th Aug 1763 aged 73 who commissioned the monument.
