A substantial buff coloured brick wall with a vioathered tile capping.
The lower part is C18 and the upper part was rebuilt in the early Cl9.
The wall encloses the garden to the Chantry on the east, west and south
sides. The south side has a large central gateway with heavy, square,
stone gate posts, cornices and ball finials. The gates are of ornamental
wrought iron.

The Chantry, the Walls & Gates to The Chantry, No 3, wall and railings to No 3
form a group with Bishop's Palace, The College & The Cathedral of The Holy
Trinity.
