Ruined motte and bailey castle. Probably C14. Coursed rubble. About 15
metres of wall on north side of bailey, and a short stretch to south climb-
ing slope of motte, about 5.5 metres high, both with a series of put-log
holes. At south-east gate a small fragment of walling without any recog-
nisable features. Scheduled as an Ancient Monument, County Number 116.
