House. Probably 1820s. Cement-rendered and blocked out; slate
roof; stacks with brick shafts.
Plan: Double depth, 1 room wide.
Exterior: 3 storeys. Asymmetrical 2-bay front with regular
fenestration. Deep eaves with eaves brackets partly concealed
by later fascia. Platbands at first and second floor sill
level. Segmental-headed recesses frame all the windows, with
narrow bands across the front at the springing of the
segmental arches. Doorway to the left with a recessed 5-panel
door with panelled reveals and a fanlight with teardrop
glazing bars. All windows early C19 glazed with hornless
sashes: ground floor right and 2 first floor 16-pane sashes; 2
second floor 3/6-pane sashes.
Interior: Not inspected but likely to retain features of
interest.
