Old Non-conformist Chapel)

GV II

Non-conformist chapel, now converted to squash courts.
Early/mid C19 for the Bible Christians. Painted ashlar front
gable end with granite coping and other exposed granite
dressings; painted rubble to sides; concrete tile roof.
Rectangular plan, altered late C20, possible former vestry on
right and extended at rear. Simple Gothic-style front. 2
storeys; symmetrical 2-window front with blocked openings.
Central trefoil-headed ventilator over 2 pointed arched
1st-floor windows; central 4-centred arched doorway. Side
walls have some blocked openings. Left-hand return has
segmental-arched opening on the left. INTERIOR altered when
converted.
