Includes: No.7 PRIDEAUX PLACE. Pair of semi-detached houses. Early C19. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond, stucco, roof of slate. Two and three storeys over basement, two windows each. The principal front faces south, with the inner, three-storey bay of each house under a shared pedimented gable, the outer, two-storey bays set back slightly. No 9 has flat-arched entrance to side framed by stucco pilasters and entablature, with reeded doorcase, overlight and panelled door of original design; no 7 has flat-arched entrance in enclosed stucco porch with Doric pilasters, to side. All windows flat-arched; ground-floor inner windows tripartite with stucco architrave and cornice, inner first-floor windows with stucco architraves; outer windows have heads of gauged brick; moulded stucco cornice to inner bay converting to cornice and blocking course on outer bay and to return; flat-arched attic window to no 7, rebuilt as segmental to no 9; pedimented gable; stack to party wall.
