The iron gate mentioned in the listing is missing. -Piae Senectae Domus- (Charitable Old-peoples Home). These almshouses were originally intended to house 6 women, but were remodelled as two houses c1935. A charitable building provided for workers on the Belton estate by the Brownlow family of Belton House. (Photo Jun 2014).
