Pair of houses. 1863-4. Builder William Holtom. Brick with
buff headers and stucco dressings; slate roof with brick
stop-chamfered end stacks. Georgian style. 2 storeys;
symmetrical 3-window range. Top cornice. Segmental-headed
entry with C20 door and flanking entrances with friezes and
consoled cornices over C20 doors. Windows have sills, with
wedge lintels and keys over 4-pane sashes, margin lights to
central 1st-floor window. Part of the early C19 development of
the north part of Stratford, known as New Town.
