House and shop, now house. Mid C19 range to front; rear wing
possibly earlier. Limestone ashlar to front, render to sides
and rear; rear wing coursed squared limestone rubble. Welsh
slate roof, concrete tiles on rear wing; brick left-end stack;
stone right-end stack; brick ridge stack on rear wing. 3
storeys and cellar; 3-window range. First floor has three C19
plate glass sashes in moulded stone shouldered architraves
with large keystones supporting band course above; ummoulded
cills supported on brackets. 3 similar windows to second floor
above. Ground floor has simple C19 shopfront which continues
to form surround to carriage entrance to left; 3 stone
pilasters, timber fascia and moulded cornice across full width
of building. Opening to basement in stall riser has C19
ornamental wrought-iron grille. Carriage entrance to left has
pair of plank doors with open panels infilled with iron bars;
similar panel forms overlight above. Rusticated quoins to left
and right angles; debased modillion eaves cornice. 2-storey
gabled rear wing has C19 timber casement windows in plain
reveals. INTERIOR not inspected.
