churchyard, about lm south-east
of south-east corner of south aisle,
Church of St. Peter and St. Paul

GV II

2 chest tombs: mid C18; stone. Built one against other.
Flat lids, simply moulded edges. Sides weathered; northernmost
face may have been decorated, southernmost plain. Ends: north
tomb corners quarter-square gadrooned balusters; rectangular panel
with serpent of eternity surrounding hourglass, feathers to sides,
fronds above. South tomb lyre ends, scrolls and poppies frame
narrow rectangular panel, with reduced version of serpent,
hourglass, fronds and feathers.
