Detached house; early C18; timber-framed with brick nogging,
rubble stone plinth, right gable brick, roof tiled. Two-room plan,
one storey plus attic, half in roof. Timbers spindly, 2-panels
high, joists originally tenoned through studs and pegged. Boarded
front door near right-hand end, with weather-board hood on
brackets. Two 2-light wood casement windows set within frame to
left of door: iron opening casements. Two gabled dormers with
similar windows. Brick to right gable replaced timber-frame:
chimney projects. To left a lean-to extension to front, double
Roman tiles; further stone lean-to to gable. Left-hand gable
chimney within main envelope of building.
