The upper floors are faced with painted brick, the 1st floor windows being set in elliptical-arched recesses linked with a springing band. The back, facing Bath Passage is gabled with a stucco facing lined with imitation ashlar joints. Inside, the original C17 plan form survives on the 1st and 2nd floors, with a massive chimney stack separating the front and back rooms, and some of the 1st floor ceiling beams have cyma stop chamfers.
