Cottage with attached range, formerly forge. C17 refronted C18. Timber-frame mostly encased in brick and extended, old plain tile roof. Two bays of 1½ storey frame survive with right bay replaced by two bay single storey forge. In each bay C19 tripartite sash with segmental head, except C20 window to right. Between centre bays C19 four-panel door with segmental head. In 1½ storey left bays two-light casements with heads in gabled dormers, and roof half-hipped to left. At right end gable, abutting it half-hipped roof to right bays with two-light gabled dormer on roof. On front wall brick dated 1692 and stone dated 1712 on right end. Inside forge survives.
