Cottage with attached shop. C16 core refronted and extended C18. Timber-
frame encased and extended in brick, later colourwashed or rendered, old
plain tile roof. 3 bay C16 building with early C18 cross-wing added to
right bay and late C18 smaller shop attached to right side of it. Left bay
rebuilt as garage with double doors under segmental arch. Early C19 6-panel
door in segmental arch to left in centre bay, with irregular C20 windows in
older segmental head openings to right. 3 2-light gables dormers. Stack
between centre and right bays. Cross-wing has large C20 3-light casement
and C19 6-pane door with rectangular fanlight to right, 2-light casement
over and hipped roof. Narrower wing has shop front of large window with
door to right and signboard over, 2-light casement above, dentilled eaves
and hipped roof.
