Cottage. C16 and late C19 alterations. Exposed timber-frame with late C19
red brick infill and rendered south east gable. Combed wheat reed thatch,
hipped to south east end. Square red brick ridge stack, rendered. Three bay,
lobby entry plan, including the narrower entry and chimney bay. Two storeys.
Close studding with middle rail and curved downward bracing from corner main
posts to studs. Jowled heads to main posts. Two first floor C19 casements
and small closet window opposite the stack. Two ground floor wood casements
on either side of the lobby entry doorway.
