Public House. C16, with C18 and early C19 additions and alterations. Timber-
frame with tall tile roof, with later extension at the south end. 2 storeys,
4 upper windows. Frame exposed to the front (east) and north gable, with
jettied 1st floor at the front, with infilling of roughcast, other rendering,
and painted brickwork. Early C19 casements. ½-glazed door. The south side
extension has 2 storeys, 2 windows (south side now filled with brickwork),
blue header brick walling with red dressings, quoins, rubbed flat arches, plinth.
Victorian sashes. ½ glazed door with plain hood.
