3/38 Well Head c100m east of
Brockworth Court

Well head. C18, probably built at the same time as the walled
garden to the south of Brockworth Court (q.v.). Irregularly
bonded red brick on a coursed squared and dressed limestone plinth,
chamfered quoins. Small square building. Traces of arched
opening in the west side formerly flanked by limestone columns with
carved capitals of which only one now remains. The roof of the
building collapsed and the whole building generally overgrown at
the time of resurvey, (December 1986).
