An early C16 timber-framed and plastered house built on a E shaped plan
with a cross wing at the west end and 3 gables on the south front. The
north front has exposed timber-framing, a large gable to the cross wing,
a small central gabled wing and a hipped wing at the east end with a small
gablet. Roof tiled, with a good central chimney stack with grouped diagonal
shafts on a rectangular base. (RCHM 3).
