Barn 8 metres east of Batten's

II

Barn, originally a threshing barn. Mid C18. Random rubble chert; some cob below
eaves line; hipped thatched roof. Opposed doors replaced; one smaller planked
door with strap hinges. Pointed window to rear. Bench mark on left-hand corner.
Interior with collar rafter roof, 6 trusses with tie beams and high collars, pegged
throughout. A good intact example of an C18 barn.
