House. C17 or earlier, C19 N outshut. Timber frame, roughcast with
ground floor partly clad in brick. Steep pitched tile roof carried down
over extension on N side. A 2-storeys small house some way from road up
a track entered by E gable. Plank door with moulded surround. 3-lights
casement window to left and 2-lights to outshut on right. Very large
external brick chimney with offsets on S side to E room. Later small
external chimney to S side of W end. Interior has jowled posts and
clasped-purlin roof. 2 cross-beams to E room, axial beam to W room
beyond with stair rising in outshut next partition.
