Row of 3 houses. Apparently early-mid C19 but may be remodellings of earlier
cottages. Rendered stone rubble walls gable ended slate roof. Rendered stack at
left gable end apparently a brick shaft on rubble base; brick rear lateral stack to
central cottage and rendered axial stack between it and right-hand house.
Plan: 1-room plan cottage to left (No.69), the 2 other houses are 2-room plan with
central entry, all extended at rear in C19 and C20.
Exterior: 2 storeys. No. 69 to left has 1 window front with later C19 6-pane sash
on first floor, late C20 PVC window below with slate dripcourse over and later C19
gabled porch with decorative barge-board to the right which has C19 glazed and
panelled door behind. No. 70 at centre has 2 semicircular C19 bay windows on ground
floor. C19 small paned casement above to the right and later C20 1- and 2-light
casement to the left. Central C20 part-glazed door. No.71 to right has regular 2-
window front of early C19 16-pane sashes with a small C20 light at the centre on
first floor. Below is C19 4-panel door.
