House. Late C15, mid C16 with C17 repairs and alterations, divided into seven
tenements by 1840 with an additional range to rear. Timber-framed and plastered.
Thatched roof partly tiled. Tall red brick ridge stack with grouped diagonal shafts.
Two storeys and one storey and attic. U-plan with C20 wing to south, cross wing to
north with inserted C17 stack shared with open hall, reroofed and truncated. Boarded
door in lobby entry position, three ground floor windows and two attic and one dormer
window, small casements or larger C20. Interior: moulded cross beams to cross wing,
exposed floor frames, staircase in angle with cross wing. Some reused rafters smoke
blackened in roof over hall range.
