Almshouses, now 4 private houses. Dated 1654, altered; coursed limestone,
old tile roof with 4 brick chimneys, 6 gabled dormers with 2-light
casements, 1 storey and attic, 9 bay front with 6 2-light casements
housing painted wood lintels and three pairs of doors, central and in
2nd bay from each end. Over the central pair is a gable with inscription
and datestone. Modern rear extensions. Almshouses founded by Thomas
Stafford of Tattenhoe.
