House, late C18 built as an inn on the canal bank. Rubble stone, part
colourwashed, old tile roof with flanking brick chimneys. 2-storeys
to canal, 3 storeys to lower ground on north. Attic in roof. South front has
3 bays with 4 pane wide upper floor sash windows and altered sashes flanking
central door on ground floor. 2-light attic windows in gables. Irregular
openings to north front. Shallow roofed lean-to against west gable.
