A small two-storey stone house, C17 and later, cement rendered front with quoins, early tiled roof, one stone and one brick chimney stack. Large central dormer with two late two-light casement windows. Two widely spaced windows to first floor, C19 sashes in wide wooden cases with moulded edge almost flush with the face. In the ground floor, left of the central entrance is an early C18 single hung sash window in a plain wooden case, reveals, segmental arched head with keystone. Low doorway with plain frame and partly glazed door. On the right of the doorway is a restored late C18 shallow bow window with glazing bars.

Nos 23 to 49 (odd) High Street including No 25A form a group of which Nos 29 to 37 (odd) are of local interest only.
