Building and adjoining yard wall at approximately 70 metres north west of Capstan

Fish cellars (for pressing pilchards) now a store. Circa early-mid C19. Granite rubble with roughly-hewn dressings including granite monolithic piers carrying the open front.
PLAN: long rectangular plan with seven bay open front facing north east and wide doorway with loading hatch over at the left-hand end.
EXTERIOR: long low open south east front with wall plate of roof carried on six regularly spaced granite monolithic piers.
INTERIOR: has overhanging ledge to its rear wall under which the cantelever pressing
beams were stopped. Wooden floor at right-hand end.
Cobbled yard in front has high rubble walls to its front and sides.
