Description

MORVAH
SW 43 SW
6/182 Crows (covered chamber) at
- SW 40533445, Chun Farm
II
2 crows (local name to describe covered storage chambers). Probably C18. Granite
rubble fronts.
Plan: 2 round-on-plan chamber excavated out of the hillside with domed clay subsoil
ceilings.
Small doorways facing north constructed from granite moorstone.
Crows were possibly for cool food storage or possibly they are goose houses or
piggeries. Their construction bears a resemblance to the ancient fogous found
locally.
