Pumphouse and hand-pump (by W H Smith of Whitchurch) later C19.
Open-fronted shelter of oak small framing with zig-zag bracing beneath
eaves, on sidewalls of red and yellow sandstone. The front truss
carries an oak panel inscribed YE SHALL SERVE THE LORD AND HE SHALL
BLESS THY BREAD AND THY WATER. Red clay tile roof. Pump of cast iron
with round-fronted bucket-stand of red and yellow sandstone. The cap
of the pump-chamber is missing.
