Two houses. Early C17 with later alterations. Rendered and
colourwashed timber frame. Pantiled roof. 2 storeys. 4-window
range. 2 late C20 plank doors and five C20 casements to ground
floor, with one 4-light C19 casement to extreme left of
elevation. Jettied first floor fitted with three 3-light and
one 2-light C19 casements. Gabled roof with ridge stack and an
internal gable-end stack to west.
INTERIOR (of No.9): frame with jowled principal posts. Wide
rebuilt fireplace to west room. Late C20 ladder staircase.
Half of a blocked 4-centred doorway to front remains visible.
Rafter roof much renewed.
