Formerly inn and manor courthouse, later farmhouse, now house: later C17 with early C19 addition and later C20 alterations. English bond orange brick with red sandstone dressings. Welsh slate roof and 2 brick chimneys. 2-storey over cellar, 7-bay front. Right 4 bays is original house. Chamfered stone plinth, raised to right of door to include entrance to cellar. Flush stone quoining and dentil brick band at 1st floor. Windows are 2-light late C20 wooden casements with glazing bars under weak segmental brick heads. Central doorway has heavy wooden surround under similar head and is approached by 3 steps. Dentil band continues on right side. Left 3 bays is former farmbuilding now partly added into house. Board door and 2 C20 windows below and 2 square pitch holes and a line of ventilation slots above. Interior: entrance into lobby with winder staircase to rear. Room to right has raised wooden floor and corner fireplace with C20 grate (said to be manor courtroom). Room to left has inglenook fireplace with chamfered bressumer. Ceiling beams boxed and joists hidden. Old board door to kitchen.
