room approx 20m W of
Chicksands Priory

GV II

Game larder and drying room, belonging to Chicksands Priory. Mid C19. Red
brick, partly rendered, with clay tile roofs. Consists of small rectangular
building with hipped roof, with smaller octagonal block with conical roof
adjoining to SE. Rectangular block: red brick dressings, with render over
coursed rubble. Windows are mostly pointed arched, with sills at springing
line, except W window which has 4-centred head. Pointed arched doorway to E.
Octagonal block: red brick. Narrow pointed arched single lights, one to each
elevation. Pointed arched gabled dormers to alternate elevations. Doorway to
N elevation with cambered head. Wood finial to roof.
