House in terrace - at one time 2 cottages. Dated, over door, 1779. Rubble stone
walls, stone slate roof, one plastered stack near left end, one brick stack near
right end. 2 storeys. Part-glazed panelled door. Ground floor has 5 casements
with glazing bars - 2 in blocked doorways, all under flat arches. First floor
has 5 casements with glazing bars. A National Trust property. (RCHM, Monument 87.
Dorset. Vol. II).
